These words are still ringing in my ears. Everyone was having a good time on a holiday as I noticed someone I love may have had too much to drink and as my concern or worry brought me to say the word's "Gee it seems like you've had a bit too much to drink today" and there was the Epiphany reply that put me in my place. "Hey, it's not your river!"
I am powerless over what other people say and do. I can only control my own actions or thoughts and pray for those whom I care about. God hears my prayers and the others are for Him to lead and guide into sobriety and safety. It is none of my business really what the other people do as long as I am not enabling someone else's bad habit!
Soon after I came to my senses, a good time was had by all .... woo hoo including ME!
